“ The food was great and the customer service was excellent!! The day, I entered, the manager/cook's family was visiting and eating. All I did was casually mention that the food looked good and asked what it was? I ordered my food and waited. When me food was ready, the restaurant worker had shared some of his food with me!! A very unexpected random act of kindness!!! Mucho gracias amigo! ”
“ I got the fish tacos with blackened catfish in corn tortillas and I thought they were great. I decided to try the meal, and it came with a side and drink. I had the seasoned mixed veggies and they were a bit too seasoned. Too salty for my taste so I could only eat 1/3 of it. I will likely try a different side and maybe just something without seasoning as a side. The cashier was very friendly and helpful with my order. And the spot was low key and it felt like a "hole in the wall" type place where it looked kind of hidden and yet it turns out it is a hidden gem. I would definitely go here again and try other entrees and items. ”
“ They have great fried redfish. Red beans and rice taste pretty good. Hot and fresh food. ”
“ This place is exactly what you expect, great prices and great food, i always get the 3 fish 6 shrimp with jambalaya rice and onion rings, everything crispy, and I am never disappointed, I'm no expert on jambalaya rice but my taste buds give it a 10 . Been there probably a dozen times and it's always good ,service is good the place is small but kept clean. They always seem to have a stream of customers picking up orders to go , so I guess their take out service is on point. I gave it a five star, because it met all I'm looking for in a food service establishment, clean, good service, good food ,and fair prices. I always go by myself because my wife doesn't like seafood other than lobster. ”
“ Onion Rings are huge and DELICIOUS as are the oysters. Recently I had fried oysters at Fish City Grill which were literally 1/4 the size of Fish Place and were flavorless. Prices are respectful and it should be the go-to seafood spot in Sugar Land. Food is solid and the prices aren't $20 a plate. My new Fish Place! Best to order to-go because it's not too comfortable to eat inside. ”
“ This was my 1st visit in a long time. I must say my fried fish dinner was delicious. Even the fries were seasoned to perfection. The fish wasn't over cooked and dry. I don't normally post reviews, but I frequently rely on reviews to determine where I'm going next. ”
“ So, this spot has become an option in our "no cook" dinner nights. Their fried and grilled fish were seasoned well and delicious. Their garlic bread was just ok, and their hush puppies were still kind of too sweet. But, my family's go to dish lately has been their Cajun pasta. They gave us a generous amount of chicken, shrimp, and bell peppers. Their pasta was also plentiful with good texture. We could taste the Cajun spices coming through. I really enjoyed the creaminess and the tomato sauce undertones in this pasta as well. It's not much to look at inside. But, most people come here for quick takeout food. Overall, my family and I enjoy the food here. We still have to try out their poboys and etouffee next time. ”
“ We ordered the Cajun pasta, fried catfish and grilled redfish. The Cajun pasta was creamy without being over indulgent. It had notes of tomato and tasted similar to a vodka sauce. The fried catfish was moist and crunchy. The overall flavor wasn't as pronounced as the pasta. The grilled fish was a little fishy. The flavor was stronger than the fried catfish though. ”
